I've been at it again, and I finally got this batch finished up. Included are a mix of shallow, medium, and deep-running PVC baits along with a couple repaints.

Nice work, really clean looking. Fav's for me is the first one and the craws, particularly the last two. Something about that color scheme which just grabs me.

HOT CRAW. Thats the first name i thought of when i saw that craw crank.

Great job. Are you using templates to spray these? I have about 50 that will be getting a new look soon. Plan on using all 8 air brushes that way I don't have to change colors and cups.

Desert Craw.

Reminds me of a sunset in a desert, or one of those pictures with the weird lights overhead at night.

Where do you get your lure bodies at?

Ben makes his baits, and does a very nice job too. Great job, I love those blue gills. Awesome!

Thanks guys!

I use stencils that I make out of heavy paper. Here's a pic of the stencil I used for the craw patterns:

I built all of these by hand except the second one, which is a KVD 1.5. I've been painting a bunch of KVD cranks lately, but I generally stay away from painting lure blanks.

JIGFISHERMAN, you've given me an idea for a craw color using the same basic design as my orange/blue craw: replace the orange with black, use white for the craw marks and around the eye, and I think the result will be "stellar", if you'll pardon a terrible pun.

Thanks for the name suggestions! I'm currently leaning toward "Sunset Craw" or "Horizon Craw", as I think both are good descriptions of the color.

have any that look like tilapia shallow running?

Aurora Borealis (sp) ,or northern lights, is what those weird lights are called. Aurora Craw sounds cool to me

Haha. Weird that's exactly what I thought when I looked at it as well and I mean exactly. I was reading down to make sure nobody had already posted that but low and behold. Funny.

those baits are SWEET, whittler. The first thing I thought of with that last color was icy hot....so maybe icyhot craw? Maybe could even try for an endorsement with Shaq!
