Looking for a flipping and pitching rod and I see this one quite often on ebay for roughly $95. It's a 7'1" rod rated for 1/4 - 1.5 oz and Hvy power. Looking for any feedback from anyone using the rod.

Thanks

It is a great rod. They do not make the Argon's anymore and if you can get your hands on it for that price I would say go for it. I also have the Argon cranking rod and love it. The 7'1" is very light and sensitive and that is a plus for flipping all day. They also have a great flipping stick in the magnesium series to.

I have that rod and I use it for flipping, Frogs & will try it out on swim baits this season.

I have a couple Argons in lighter weights. If I had a need for a flipping stick, I'd probably own the 7'1" Argon if I wasn't spending the money on a Helium.

Give they guys at Kistler a call and ask them about the action and performance. They love to talk and can help you to set your expectations. They also have an Argon section in their forum.
