Hawgin Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I do use the Falcon system, and in my opinion it is worth every penny. You are able to maximize space because the boxes are so specifically designed that there is no wasted space in them. I am also a "neat freek", and it allows me to keep everything in it's specific box. It's also nice because I can organize for a day of fishing quickly and easily because all of my jerkbaits are in one box, spinners in one, etc. It allows you to take exactly what you need for that day with having to sort through many boxes looking for certain baits. As most fisherman would probably agree, more stuff in less space quicker means that many more casts you can get in during one day. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 20, 2006 Super User Posted November 20, 2006 Their great ! I have all of them except the top-water box. Quote
Bud Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Everything Hawgin said is 100% right on. I like my Falcon FTO Tackle system Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted November 20, 2006 Super User Posted November 20, 2006 Love "em. The hook box and the spinnerbait boxes are the best thing out there. Everything stays where you put it, nothing gets tangled, and they have have great latches. I've never had one open up accidentally. My only complaint is the odd size. They won't fit in a 3600 size bag, and they're too small, wasting space, in a 3700 size bag. That's a minor complaint. The crank boxes are pretty good, but I like the Shimano crank boxes better. They have a nice foam hook keeper running down each side. Absolutely no tangles when using one of these. Sadly, these no longer seem to be available. BPS had a house version for a couple of years. These are also not available. I'm gonna have to baby the ones I have. I've had one of the hook boxes and one of the spinnerbait boxes since they came out. They're a little scratched up, but otherwise perfect. The hinges are still flexible and intact, the latches are super solid and nothing has broken. They've been dropped, kicked and sat on, with no problems. Great products. I'll be buying more. Good luck, GK Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I've got a few of them. the hook box is my favorite out of all of them. It took my clutter and organized it all. Great products imo Quote
Black Bass Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Thanks everybody. I'm going to get the complete set. Quote

nightbasser Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 They definitely make the best boxes. Can't wait for the new jig box to become available. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I have the spinner/buzzbait box. I really love it. I plan on changeing all my planos to the faclons. Me and my buddy really hate taking a few minnutes to untangle one bait. But to me there worth every penny. Quote
GAMEOVER Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 I had one.. the bag started falling apart (foam insterts, stitching, etc) after heavy use so I sold it to a friend. Im sticking with Plano from now on they've been around forever and have always made quality products. I have a bunch of Sto-Aways that I keep a lot of my tackle in and 4 Pro Latch Sto-Aways that came with my Plano Deluxe Magnum Pro tacklebag. What I do is is keep all my tackle in Plano Sto-Aways organized in what you could call a small book shelf. I pack the bookshelf with Plano Sto-Aways like I would a bunch of books. I then handpick what I want from each labeled Sto-Away and transfer the lures to my 4 Pro Latch Sto Aways in my tackle bag. All my plastics are in their original package but are piled into a few zip-lock freezer bags which are just stored in a nice dark box. I put my drink on one side of the tacklebag, scale goes on the other side, the chosen baits in their four cases in the main compartment, choosen plastics in the back compartment, and another smaller Sto-Away that I keep splitshots, bullet weights, various hooks, fishing tooks, and my Mega Strike (sometimes BANG Craw as well). This works good for me since im in an apartment and space is limited. You can get a million answers that work for people in this thread but its going to come down to what system works best for you. All the tackle bags/boxes/cases out are only tools to help you. The way you choose to use them is whats going to matter. I will be using the Falcon Spinner/Buzz boxes though when I restock my Spinnerbaits as I havent found a Plano system that does that. Quote
DanWyomingMI Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I just bought the FTO701. Spinner Bait box. How in the world do you get the baits to go in there???? Ive tried all different ways, they wont stay, they are falling out, Im pinching them down, they are sidways in there-- you name it! I have spent all afternoon trying to figure this thing out. Can anybody give me some tips Please!!?? thanks Dan Quote
Floridabassking352 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Yes, I love it! I have replaced all my old Plano tackleboxes with Falcon FTO's. Falcon makes the best tackle organizers around. The four-latch system keeps all my lures dry and secure, and they don't spill into the other dividers and get the hooks hung up on other lures. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 25, 2007 Super User Posted February 25, 2007 My only complaint is the odd size. They won't fit in a 3600 size bag, and they're too small, wasting space, in a 3700 size bag. That is the only reason I have not bought any of them. That said, the terminal tackle box looks better and better every time I dig into the Plano I am currently using. Quote
NEBassMan Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I just bought this Plano Spinnerbait box today. Seems to hold the baits well and fits nicely in my tackle bag with all my other 3700 size boxes. We'll see how it goes as soon as the ice melts and i can get the boat out. http://www.planomolding.com/content/index.cfm?siteaction=product&lineid=4&groupid=18§ionid=65&partid=246# Jason Quote
KYbass1276 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I have been using Falcon tackle storage boxes for quite some time now and there the best thing since sliced bread Quote

Two BPS's didn't have it. I had been keeping all of my spinnerbaits in one of the Plano square boxes. I pretty much had to carry an extra bag just for the spinnerbait box. The 3704 will hold more than it says and does a good job of it. Quote
DanWyomingMI Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 what about how to set the spinnerbaits inside the falcon 701? how do you guys place them in the box? i need some help please, no one around these parts carries them, nobody i know has one, and i can figure it out. any suggestions would be great! chitwnbass Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Dan- Slide the spinnerbait between two of the uprights right where the skirt attaches to the body (right on the rubberband) and make sure the wire is facing up. Next just bend the wire down and snap it into one of the two groves on the top of the upright. Hope this helps Quote
mark44 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 They are great!! I bought about a hundred bucks worth. I am using my old boxes to organize my garage hardware. That's how I justified the new ones to my honey. Quote
erice97699 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I have all my stuff stored in the falcon tackle system and I LOVE IT!!!!!! Eric Quote
