I was just wondering if there are any fellow supercross fans on the forum?

If so who do you think is going to take it this year? So far I would put a solid bet on Villopoto. I think it will take an unfortunate injury or bike failure to stop him!

If Bubba continues his quest for taking nasty soil samples, I think Villopoto has a good chance. But the nice thing there does not seem to be on dominant rider right now. So all I'm really hoping for a close battle for the championship. Makes the series much more interesting to follow.

Yeah it's actually kind of sad that he can't keep it on two wheels. I think all the hype and attention got to him.

The one person I would love to see win is Windham!

Villlopoto is head and shoulders above everyone else. Funny how Reed was like "yeah i can run those times when i have to, lap times are meaningless" then got his head smoked by 20 seconds even with a great holeshot hahahahaahahahaha

I like how Ricky was saying even at his "on the edge" pace Villopoto is still in control. The guy is incredible.

Ahhh the good ol' 2 stroke days =0)

You want Kevin Windham, Chad Reed or Justin Brayton!

There was nothin better than ripping around on a cr125 when I raced! Working at Service Honda was great!

This.

I used to ride a little, but I haven't watched any in a while. Ricky Carmichael was who I always pulled for.

Bubba takes lines and clears obsticles that other can't or don't, gets ahead, then finds a way to crash :dazed-7:

Villopoto will be tough to beat.

That used to be true. And he's still creative. But I was kind of surprised when Dungey caught up to him after crashing to let him by. Could be that was the pressure that made bubba go thud, too. It will be interesting to watch as the season unfolds, but I'm not sure he's "all that" these days. Which I'm, again, glad to see. Ricky and Bubba have huge skills and I give them props for that. But when they'd run away with championships, win every race kind of deals, I just did not watch. Not much fun as a spectator when the winner is a foregone conclusion.

Yes! The better racing makes it more enjoyable to watch for sure.

I'm going to bet a pack of Senkos that Reed wins this weekend though!

I'll take that action reed vs field?

Yup =)

Hahaha I all of the sudden got nervous! I'm going to have to tweet Reed and make sure to let him know I got some magic lures on this race!

Hmmm I've met Bubba and he was cool to me. Villipoto is Carmicheal #2 so I alway feel like he has to be beat not that he has to win it. Kevin Windham is by far my favorite rider though. If you watch that guy in practice its unreal how good he is but he apparantly has serious nervous issues when racing and it has been said he gets arm pump on the starting line. Ryan Dungey seems like a really good guy but sometimes he doesn't get aggressive enough so on a tight track his odds go way down imo. Then reed is the 2nd most consistent guy, very Mcgrath like but he has a mean streak and I just don't like the dude to be honest. Reed is best when the track is super technical just like Mcgrath. In fact i remember back in the day Mcgrath would win races simply because he could do jumps no other rider could do and there was one epic battle between him and RC where they both were doing a jump that no other guys could do. That aint the case anymore really. So to answer your question i like Villipoto to win but i wouldn't count out Dungey or Bubba and of course I fully expect Reed top 3

Good luck 2 you too!

Haha, the track actually looks like it will make for good racing tonight. Very fast!

That sand section is going to eat up a lot of people by the end of the night I think.
