TheHammer84 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 You have to have 5" Senkos in Watermelon w/ black fleck, they'll catch fish when nothing else is. Then Berkley Powerworms in 4", 7", and 10" Quote

D4u2s0t Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 what you're going to find is that millions of baits are "good" or "the best". Basically it all comes down to preference, and how much you're willing to spend. I love *** for soft plastics, absolutely can't beat the price and they come scented which is great. Everything I've used has produced fish, my faves are the brush hogs, duper flukes, and ***. If you want to spend a little more, look into the rage tail line, i've been very succesful with them. Downside is they're not cheap, and after a few big fish you'll be replacing them. Quote
Jeff C. Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Zoom & Yum,, are great !! most people feel Yamamoto is well worth the price!!! Quote
looking4structure Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 I really like ZOOM plastics although RAGE has made a beliver outa me Quote
catchnm Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Rage Tail Craws and Zoom Baby Brush Hogs in watermelon red stay on my hooks more than any other plastics right now. Yum Dingers are the closest stick bait to imitating the actual action of a GYCB Senko and are quite a bit cheaper. Kinami Flash is a Senko, just packaged under the son's name and not Gary Yamamoto's. Get ya some Aluring Trick Sticks and Wave Tiki Sticks too. All work well as a stick bait but each have their own characteristic action. The Tiki Sticks have some powerful scent to them. The whole Rage Tail line is well worth the money and they WILL catch fish. Oh yea, don't forget to pick up a bag or two of Gummie Worms for drop-shotting. Quote
Texas10Man Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Get a pack of Rage Tail craws and a pack of Strike King shim-e-sticks. The craws can be flipped and pitched or fished on top with a keel weighted hook. You can wacky rig or texas rig the shim-e-stick to give them a different approach if they aren't biting the craw.
