Set your DVR! Mark Zona's Awesome Fishing Show travels to a pristine private lake in North Carolina where the RageTail Craw trailing the SK football jig proves to be "The Bass Magnet". Catch the HOT action on the Outdoor Channel, Friday @ 11am & 9pm, Sat @ 9am and Sun @ 8:30am EST.

Here's a few of his comments...

This weeks show is my once a year treat which I allow himself: Fishing one private lake. But this is no normal lake. This is the Kingfisher’s Society in North Carolina, and it was made for true blue blooded bass fishing royalty. Kings and Queens haven’t fished lakes this good. North Carolina also is the home of Classic Champion Davy Hite (aka Can’t Touch This.) After I rescue Davy Hite from the local animal shelter, we make our way to the Kingfisher’s Society like prudish royalty, and soon find ourselves at high tea feasting on giant largemouth bass cakes and slaunch turkey legs fit for a king. Sit back, prop feet, get a tasty beverage, and enjoy this once a year guilty pleasure.

I just watched it. (had the DVR set)

It was SICK !

You guys already know this, but it has to be repeated.

Those Bass are Freaks (just like the bluegills in there).

It's like the opposite of Bass Fat Camp.

No doubt we will hear more from this lake in 2 or 3 years.

What will a 20-23" fish from that lake weight ? It might be scary.

Great show. That's pretty wild watching what happens when the feeders go off. Way too cool. I need to make a trip up there one of these days. A place like that could probably even make my father get into bass fishing.

Sorry guys, must be getting too old but after watching this I come away with a vastly different point of view.

Recorded this program earlier and did not get the chance to watch it until this morning and it leaves me with a few questions. Just wonder how many Wounded Warriors or Last Wish Kids would enjoy being taken to what is basically a fish hatchery, instead of a a few pros? At least he did show the feeders, wow what a true sportsman! I realize that is what most fishing shows are becoming any more but when you go to a private lake where the bass are “spoon fed”, its a little much.

Got to pay those sponsors I guess.

I'm pretty sure that the Craw he was using on the back of the jig was our new Blue Craw color (below)

Zona fishes public waters for most all of his shows and some of them are tough fisheries. He's an excellent angler and Show Host plus in his preview as well as during the show, he mentions being able to fish this private water once a year was a real treat! Filming that type of adventure would be only right, just to show how well a particular body of water can be if it's managed properly...

Got to see the show last weekend when it aired. Wow is all I can say. Was amazing to see 2 very funny anglers have a ball on this lake. I've been watching Zona's show since it started, I can count the number of private lakes on one hand. I like the fact that he was completly open about everything. Showed the feeders and gave some insight about how The Kingfisher Society was mananging the lake. Good stuff Mark. Keep it up.

Will this episode be replayed? I missed it...

Nice show, Zona is on a roll this year with large fish. Bill Dance must also fish there. Nice advertisement for your lure but with limited fishing pressure I think even the Dancin eel will be a major producer or even the helicopter lure!

I think that if someone does a little research on Zona as well as others who have been blessed when it comes to fishing, you'll find that they give much of their time in helping others to have great fishing experiences too!

I think that the majority who are successful regardless of their career choices, feel that giving back to others is not only necessary... but RIGHT. After all, "To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required"! It's a small world and it all comes back around!
