Josh. Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 If you are looking for a rod that is very light and sensitive... A duckett can detect a minnow fart. and weights next to nothing. Love my ducketts! Quote
jmed999 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I'm surprised more people here don't recommend Ducketts. I love them. I have about 7 Ducketts and love every one of them. If I had 1 complaint it would be that they do not have the specs (line weight & lure size) on the rod. Quote
Crankenstein Crony Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I have a 7'6 heavy action Micro Magic that I use for fishin' jigs and I love it! I want to get a couple more! Quote
RyneB Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I just purchased my first one the other day. I got a spinning rod, i have yet to use it, but in my yard, i can detect every little flaw in my lawn. Once the ice gets off the lakes, ill give it a workout. Quote
brianwhite Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 i own 3 myself and love em. wish all of mine were ducketts Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted January 6, 2012 Super User Posted January 6, 2012 Have 2 Ducketts, they are great!! Quote
northern basser Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 They are definitely nice rods for the $. IMO that price range offers a lot of nice rods, Powell, Abu, Shimano....... I have owned several rods in that sub $200 range and I would rank the Ducketts right up there towards the top if not the top. The white color doesn't do much for me, but I'm more interested in performance. Quote
