ib_of_the_damned Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Have any of you put suspendots on a big swimbait like a SPRO BBZ-1 Floater or any other floating swimbait 8" or larger to get it to suspend or become a slow sink? And does this affect the action of the swimbait? Last, do any of you know how much a suspendot weighs per dot? Thanks! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 4, 2012 Global Moderator Posted January 4, 2012 I would think you would be alright on the Spro, they don't seem to be a real delicately balanced bait. You'd probably be better off with the suspenstrips though because the dots don't weigh much at all and it would take a whole lot of them to make one of those things suspend or sink. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 4, 2012 Super User Posted January 4, 2012 Try weighted golf tape. It's gonna take a lot of dots to get it to sink. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted January 4, 2012 Super User Posted January 4, 2012 Try wraping the shanks of the trebles with lead solder. Quote
