I know this may have been gone over before but wondering what the vast majority of people use for hook size. Using Gamakatsu EWG's. Mainly fishing 4"-5" senko's as well as some long 10" and 7" powerworms.

4" senkos 3/0 most of the time, 2/0 for a slower fal, 4/0 for a faster drop

5" senkos, 5/0 almost all the time

For power worms, offset worm hooks, not EWGs.

4/0 mostly for 7" worms

7/0 mostly for 10"

Personally, for a 7 to 10 inch worm I would use at least a 4/0 or 5/0 or maybe even a bit larger.  I selected the 3/0 by mistake I meant to click on the 4/0.

I'm using a 5/0 Monster Gammy for the 10" Anacondas. I'll use a 3/0 or 4/0 straight shank Gammy for most of the other worms I throw. Obviously, bulkier baits I'll go to an EWG hook instead.

modified for bigger hooks. I have been mainly using Gamy 3/0 EWG's and just picked up the same only superline which seem thicker. For those 10" power worms I guess im going to have to get a pack of bigger ones however.
