Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted December 29, 2011 Super User Posted December 29, 2011 So my buddy comes into work yesterday with a black eye, and looking like he had been hit by a freight train. This is the story we got from him. His wife has the meanest cat you would ever wanna meet. Ive met this dang thing and it is the most unpleasent animal I've ever been around. He's been after her for the last five years to get rid of this thing and she won't do it. Anyway, they were taking it to the vet Monday. While riding down the dirt road about three miles from the house he is holding said cat on his lap. They're doing about thirty and have the Windows in the truck down. This fool glances at his wife and flips the cat up off his lap and out the window. Then tells her with a big grin on his face, "Honey didya just see that cat up and jump out the window." She pulled over and liked to beat him to death. He said they searched for about three hours and couldn't find hide nor hair of the cat. Apparently it showed up back at their house about six hours later, without a scratch on it. He said she's still madder than a hornet at him, but the cat won't come within ten yards of him now. 2 Quote
Scorcher214 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 That's terrible.....but it sure did make me laugh! I'm guessing the black eye was from his wife then eh? Quote

Red Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 If I had the gonads to do it, I would toss both my wifes cats out like that!! I hate cats. I am just waiting for the day my dog has had enough of the cat and decides to use it as a chew toy, I wouldn't stop her. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 29, 2011 Super User Posted December 29, 2011 Quite possibly, the funniest story on BR I've ever read. And for the record, I hate cats too. 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted December 29, 2011 Super User Posted December 29, 2011 My girls cats disappear when I'm over and I wouldn't want it any different. My brother married a girl with 2 cats. One of them was ok with the marriage and the other one continues, now 3 years later, to leave "presents" for my brother on his side of the bed, and on his shoes. Quote
scrutch Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 My wife loved this one. She's still laughing. I love to watch my Jack Russell chase the neighborhood cats. It's great fun till she actually catches one. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 30, 2011 Super User Posted December 30, 2011 A Rotti snuck in my house once. He was my neighbor's dog, and knew me, so I didn't mind at all. When I went inside, my Siamese had him cornered in the kitchen, whimpering in a pool of the dog's own urine. I like cats and dogs, together, they can be funny. Ceacer: And the two dogs he let's live with us: Quote
CAdeltaLipRipper Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 lmao i hate cats, except for a few cool ones that my friends have Quote

They would chase each other all over the apartment we were living in. Poor dog had to go hide the pig ears we would get her cause the cat would take them. It got to the point where we had to get a pig ear for the cat if we got the dog one. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 30, 2011 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 30, 2011 We have 5 cats (all rescued), 2 miniature donkeys, and a miniature horse. My favorite pet by far is the 22 lb maine coon cat named Leroy. He will eat anything, just like me. Quote

We got him from the humane society as a kitten. Most cats bring home chipmunks and what not. He brings back squirrels. His all time best though was a possom. Not a baby either. I have no idea how he killed that thing. If I didn't know better I'd think it was already dead and he just stumbled upon it. Heck he'll drag the carcass of whatever he's killed home and leave it by the front steps. If you ignore it for the day and leave it he'll move to the patio and lay it dead center about a foot back from the door so you'll notice it. I think he's a dang show off. Quote

Cats do that to show appreciation. The kill is his gift. Sounds gruesome, but to an animal it's paying back the kindness. I had a cat that did the same thing, would bring me back all kinds of dead birds and mice. The cat we have now plays with our 80 pound dog,They are like best buddies.....My Dog is real careful of not hurting the cat.Kind of amazes me how well they get along. Quote
