rubba bubba Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I'm curious if anyone has ever wacky rigged an anaconda - either the 7" or 10" version? Any changes to the presentation over a wacky rigged stickbait? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 27, 2011 Super User Posted December 27, 2011 You need about 3/8 oz. to get the tail really moving on the fall with the big Annie. Quote
s13john Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 i think if i did it i would take 2 of them cut them down and bond them together so the tails were on each side then use a weighted wacky rig Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 27, 2011 Super User Posted December 27, 2011 That would be pretty neat! Quote
Bass Junkie Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 That thing would have an absolutely insane vibration..... Quote
s13john Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Big O if you make some of those i want some free packs Quote
Bass Junkie Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Big Bite Baits made something similar to this I believe and it has not caught on well at all.... With proper marketing a Rage Tail wacky worm could sell well, but having KVD around throwing a few here and there might help Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 28, 2011 Super User Posted December 28, 2011 I don't think I've EVER see him throw a wacky worm, LOL. Quote
Big-O Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Might try the Rage Rig (weighted hook) with either size Annie using a 1/4oz Moaner 4/0 to 6/0 weighted Stroker. Also 1/4oz is the minimum weight that I designed them around and J Francho's comment of 3/8 will get a faster fall rate if that's what's needed. Drop shotting them is getting popular with several of my friends as well... I've been doing exactly that on deep ledges with the smaller Anacondas and it's BANGIN' on'em. I've broke off several before I get them to the boat because I'm horsing the fish too much! www.ragetail.com Quote
