Super User tomustang Posted December 27, 2011 Super User Posted December 27, 2011 It's a movie about a horse, what is there to expect... Quote

Fat-G Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 Videography was good, plot was stupid, actors were really bad, and it went nowhere. See TinTin instead haha. Quote

Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted December 27, 2011 Super User Posted December 27, 2011 Videography was good, plot was stupid, actors were really bad, and it went nowhere. See TinTin instead haha. But the important question is. Was the horses acting any good? Quote

scrutch Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Thanks for the review. My wife was trying to get me to go see it and I read your review and I think it changed her mind. I can usually tell if I want to see it if the critics like it, I usually don't. Quote
Jim_M Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Hmmm. Seems the majority of critics and viewers have a significantly better opinion of War Horse. We'll have to see for ourselves. Quote
GLADES Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Wasn't that a spider? There was a TV show called Mr Ed in the 60's. The horse talked to it's owner Wilbur. Occasionally, he would exclaim "Wilbur!" Quote
Senkoman12 Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Wasn't that a spider? no he was a pig. charolette was the spider Quote
Fat-G Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Hmmm. Seems the majority of critics and viewers have a significantly better opinion of War Horse. We'll have to see for ourselves. The consensus from my family was that it was sub-par. I'm not saying don't go see it, kids will like it and wives might as well. If you can avoid it, though, you should. Quote
scrutch Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 no he was a pig. charolette was the spider Yes, but the spider said "Wilbur" when speaking to the pig named Wilbur. Oh yes, I remember the horse too now. Still not going to see Warhorse, we saw Mission impossible instead. Good flick. Quote
