To say Wade is a joke is just plain silly though. Time for me to raise a glass, hop in the ride to the arena and enjoy the conference finals. Making a joke about the mavs run this year would be the same as me making a joke about the heat LOSING to the mavs in the finals last year. Yeah your right we had some problems with player personnel this year. Lost some of the players we made it with last year and didnt achieve much this year except our 12th straight playoff birth in a row. This is the first season since 2001 that we havent won 50+ games. Smack talk? its all in fun. As far as D Wade goes, my opinion is my opinion. If you dont like it i dont know what to tell you. I remember playing basketball all the way trough my senior year in HS and being taught from 6th grade on to draw attention to yourself when contact is made in the paint. Every player does this but Wade takes it to a whole nother level. Any contact what so ever and he is on the ground yelling trying to get to the line. I hate him for little things like that. Or talking about Dirk last year with Lebron making fun of him cause he was sick with the flu during the finals. On TV. I think it is inmature. While he was busy talking crap, dirk was putting in work on the court and winning an NBA title. Or when they lost to the Pacers that first game and Wade was talking with reporters and compaining about the pacers celebrating. He had to throw in the mavericks and say the pacers over celebrated like the mavs did last year. Of course we over celebrated WE WON THE TITLE! I can go on and on. Like the lebron bosh and wade parade crap where they were talking about winning 6 titles. Stop talking about it and be about it. All that championship talk and they got beat by a team with an average age of 35. Dont get me wrong, i never said wade was not a skillfull basketball player. I just dispise him. And not for 06. For the kind of player he is. Quote
Jake P Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Just want to get you started, I would agree the pouting and calling for fouls especially during the 3rd game of the series against the Pacers was just plain dumb. As you know basketball is a game of streaks, he had a couple of bad games, but overall the guy is a top 10 player in the NBA. Nevertheless, I bet you are still soar about the beating he put on the Mavs during the 2006 NBA finals. Off the court the guy is laid back, nice, and humble, unlike many NBA superstars. I am not sore about 06. not even the least bit. Thats how sports work. You win and lose. Last year made up for any soreness i had, if any. As for wade off the court, i could not care less. I dont watch sports to see how players act off the court/ field. Quote

I think he will be back for the finals(assuming the Celtics lose in 5) Having Bosh out has forced the back ups to finally produce. Wade is a great player. He plays physical and with skill.
