I'm very happy for the devoted NBA fans.

Personally I didn't notice its absence. :Idontknow:

So....The're back showboating 1 on 1 trying to see who can get the biggest shoe contract.

Pass, I will stick to the ncaa game. At least they pretend it is still a team game.

NBA is a team game! Both are great in their own respect, but if you want to watch the best basketball teams in the World play then the NBA is where it is at, not an opinion a fact.

As far as some NBA players being primo uomo and acting like the ball and franchise money should belong to them exclusively is another issue, which has led many to shy away, but its still a team game and the better teams will play like that.

With that said my top two teams in the East are:

1. Chicago

2. Miami

in the West:

1. Oklahoma

2. Memphis

The rest of the contenders are the Clippers, Spurs, Lakers and possibly Dallas or Denver.

The East only has another threat in the Knicks, but other than that the West is where its at. Some hardcore Boston fans may be offended, but the players are taking Geritol.

With that said GO HEAT!

Bah, to Heck with the Heat! May that clown James and the "unbeatable 3" or whatever they call themselves get stomped every game. The Heat can't handle Kobe and his Lakers!

Go Lakers!

Not what the Vegas odds makers think. Lakers may not be the best team in L.A!

Im a huge Bulls fan and us Bulls fans love D Rose. He plays the game the right way and carries himself the way a young man should carry himself. When its all said and done he will be loved like Jordan and Walter when hes done, and may even surpass them. Derrick just signed his 5 year 94.8 million dollar contract and he said "ill be able to afford what i want. But not too many things excite me except winning and being around my family." Followed by "mom, we finally made it." Hes not like Lebron and Dwight Howard and Chris Paul who demand trades and cry because there team isnt winning. The sad thing is our youth looks up to guys like Lebron, Howard and Paul. It teaches the kids that if you dont like your situation, instead of working hard and helping your team mates, it teaches you to cry and get what you want. Lebron could win 20 championships with the Heat and they will never get my respect. The Heat will win a championship or 2 or 6, and all those bandwagon Heat fans can all celebrate. But ill be happier than them knowing my team worked hard as a team, did everything they could to try to win, and did it with respect and loyalty.

LeBron asked to be traded? News to me. And to think, this whole time I thought he was a free agent before he came down here.....

Doubt it. He'll definitely go down in the books as a great player, but he'll never reach Jordan status. I really doubt anybody ever will. Your first sentence kind of sums it up. You Bulls fans love Rose. When Jordan was playing, "all" fans loved watching him. Outside of Chicago there aren't legions of Rose fans like Mike had.

For everyone who likes professional basketball I am glad it is back.

However, I am even happier for the folks who make their living off the game as the lockout really took its toll on them.

I don't follow professional basketball and have stopped watching men's college games.

I will watch a college women's game as that is still pure basketball with team work, passing and good ball skills.

When the NFL season ends I watch NHL hockey. Geaux Flyes!!!!

I follow the Celtics as much as I can. I would buy the NBA package through the cable company, but it's just an extra expense we don't need.

But anytime they are on the cable channels, I'm watching.

I used to HATE the NBA. But as college B-ball evolved into what it is today, I've come to enjoy the NBA a bunch. It's my 2nd favorite sport to College Football.

I'd like to watch New York, and the Clippers some this year too, maybe OK City too since I really haven't payed any attention to Durant, and it's obvious he is a great offensive player.

You and me both. The Clippers have suddenly become a really interesting team again.

Just looked up this old post from Raider Nation Fisher and was just getting a chuckle out of his clowning of the Heat. I guess I owe some Celtics fans an apology since I didn't pick them to even make the Playoffs, but to my defense, Rajon Rondo is not on Geritol and is the stud of that team, to me he is the best point guard playing.

I am still pulling for the Heat in the East and I think Miami should win it even without Bosh, I think it is vital for the Heat to give Bosh time to recoup, and not play him too early in the series against Boston, even though he may be needed tremendously. Boston is weak coming into Miami and Rondo is playing incredible, but with Ray and Paul not 100%, I say Miami in 6 without Bosh!

I am still predicting the Thunder in the West, but San Antonio's experience and scoring ability is tough to match. I can tell you both teams (SA, OK) can beat the Heat without Bosh since the Heat's supporting cast is WEAK, very weak.

That OKC and Spurs series should go 7. That's going to be incredibly fun to watch. Can the Heat beat either of those two without Bosh? Sure. Will be it be very difficult? God yes. If I was a betting man, I'd pick one of the two teams out of the West to win it all as everything sits right now. If Bosh comes back healthy, and the Heat backups play like they did the last two games, it's a different story.

That being said, I'll be sitting courtside again tonight proudly wearing my white clothing. LEHGO HEAT,

What a rivalry this has turned into. Love the playoffs!

Wade is a joke. Dont get me started cause i will go on and on. The bs press conference they had when lebron joined was a circus act. Not 1, not 2, not 3....I cant stand that garbage. San antonio will beat OKC in 5 and then go on to beat miami in 6. I am a Mavs fan and am not fond of SA or Miami. SA is having one of the best years i have seen them have. Maybe ever. It will be fun to see Miami lose in the finals for a second year in a row.

Wade is a joke.

That's cute.

The Mavs sure made one hell of a run this year didn't they....Oh, wait... :D

I'm not going to go into smack talking. It's pointless. To say Wade is a joke is just plain silly though.

Time for me to raise a glass, hop in the ride to the arena and enjoy the conference finals.

Lets go bucks! oh wait they had a crappy season again. To top it off there threatening to leave. If they don't get a new arena. I say good bye and never come back.

Other then hearing about the bucks. I don't follow basketball at all. All I know is I hate the heat. I never hated them in till they pulled that little stunt a few years ago.

Just want to get you started, I would agree the pouting and calling for fouls especially during the 3rd game of the series against the Pacers was just plain dumb. As you know basketball is a game of streaks, he had a couple of bad games, but overall the guy is a top 10 player in the NBA. Nevertheless, I bet you are still soar about the beating he put on the Mavs during the 2006 NBA finals. Off the court the guy is laid back, nice, and humble, unlike many NBA superstars.

I was pulling for OKC until last nites performance. The Spurs in 6, or maybe 5, if OKC don't step it up a bit.

Of course I going with the Heat but Boston might open a can of whoop ars.

I hope its OKC and Miami, but I have a feeling it will be the Miami or Boston and the Spurs.

Hey Eric, I think I saw you on T.V. Were you wearing a white shirt, sitting in between two people who were also wearing white shirts? Yep, that's you.

Wow. This is one of the worst games I've seen the Celtics play in awhile.

Allen can't buy a shot right now and they're just forcing shots up.
