bocabasser Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 will the big foot trolling motor switch work on a 36 volt trolling motor? thanks in advance. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted December 25, 2011 Super User Posted December 25, 2011 Yes, the voltage has nothing to do with its operation. It is just a simple single pole momentary contact switch with a hold on lever. The AMP capacity of the contacts can handle any trolling motor. What fails is the rubber covering. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 27, 2011 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 27, 2011 I have three on the deck of my stratos that I have to replace every two years or so because, wait for it, the rubber cover wears out. Quote
Red Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Yeah, I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago, you won't believe what the problem was, it was the rubber cover!!!! I got about three years out of mine. Of all the "add ons" i got for my boat, this was by far the best one. Quote
