Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted December 24, 2011 Super User Posted December 24, 2011 Show & Tell the new gear you got. All together from Christmas sales I got St Croix Legend Elite put Pflueger Sumpreme XT on it. The spool from the gold SXT fits the new SXT btw. A Curado 50E. put it on my Smoke rod. Quote
LuckyHandsINC. Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Loving the spinning combo. That other spool looks sick on the supreme. Quote
ChiCityBasser Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Couldn't get a decent pic to post with the cell phone but my wife got me a Cabelas XMLTi 7' Medium casting rod. She also picked herself up a present from Cabelas as well. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted December 24, 2011 Global Moderator Posted December 24, 2011 If you don't have one yet you'll love that spinning reel! I bought myself one with money I won from a Wednesday night tournament this summer, best present I've ever gotten myself! Quote
38 Super Fan Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I love the look of the Supreme XT, I'm gonna pick up one of those very soon. Quote

Yeah this reel is super slick/smooth and the color wont show minor blimeshes like the gold one Pflueger is putting out nice reels. Quote
Fat-G Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Can I get a "HOT d**n" for the spinning setup? That's sick! Quote

Nice, I had a decent haul as well. - Luna 300 - coming soon. - A couple "generous" checks from relatives. - A whole lot of TW dollhairs - Another F&S flannel shirt (that makes 4, a must have shirt) - Wool socks - incredibly comfortable. - New boxers - New moccasins - A VERY nice present from hookingem that will be put to good use More importantly though, I gave each of my family members a gift that I spent a lot of time thinking about, which to me is more important that getting what I want. It's shocking to me that I'm one of the only kids I know that buys gifts for family as well... most of my friends just sit there and open their presents. Quote
piscicidal Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I got a couple of BPS gift cards, a columbia spf shirt, and some Spro frogs as stocking stuffers. I gave my Dad a Calcutta. Gave my son a BPS card, an assortment of hard baits (topwaters, cranks, jerkbaits) and his first baitcast setup. We were just practicing a little in the pond in the back yard, and he's doing pretty well with it. By the time he's six he'll be slinging it out there. Quote

X2 I made/bought presents for each of my siblings and parents and it felt better to give than to get. It even felt better than getting my first Loomis . Quote

Only topwater they wanted to hit, it seems the only topwater muskies wanted, too. Quote
