Well, it took a Best In Show award at ICast. Have any of you guys picked up one and fished it? If so, does it have any advantages in your opinion over any other frog style bait on the market?

I've fished a few times and have been pretty impressed with it. Heavens knows they bass seem to like it quite a bit. Haven't really had much time to formulate much of an opinion of it versus a frog.

I havent fished one or even seen one to buy yet. But i will definately get one and fish it. One of my best producing baits is the XPS mouse. Seems like a bass hits my mouse harder than any other bait.

Looks like they wont be available till February. Which is fine, i wont be on the water until early April.

I would think they'd be a good way to keep fishing topwater, but show the bass a little something "new." Not to say that hollow bodied mice don't already exists, but almost everyone fishes a frog. For whatever reason, I also think bass like mice better. Throw a frog in the pond, and you rarely see it get eaten. Throw a mouse in the pond, and you get a whole pack of bass swarming after it. I also caught a bass in our home pond this last spring that had the hind end of a mouse sticking out of it's throat.

I'll definitely be buying one.

I will say this about those baits, that guy is a fricken genius. All those life like finishes, and super attention to detail are sure to catch the heck out of one thing....................fisherman. For every bass caught on some super, have to look twice to see if it's alive bait, 10 will be caught on a "I am not quite sure what it is really supposed to look like" crank bait color, or some odd shaped plastic like a sweet beaver, or the super life like bait we all love.....the spinnerbait LOL. But if it makes you feel better, go for it. When I spend $15 on a hard bait it will be on some Lucky craft that looks like a blue gill, or is it a crawfish.......... guess it depends on who you ask LMAO.

I agree with you there - As soon as this bait came out I thought "Just a Typical, Catch the Fisherman type Bait" You can't convince me that this bait will catch Bass when a Frog won't. You can't convince me that this bait is better than a Frog. So why would I spend money on a Bait, that I have another type of bait already, that will fish as good or better than this?

I have yet to use mine, but most of the reviews say it wont hold up. I have seen where the tail comes off on the first bass. Im really excited to throw these, so im kind of dissapointed with the bad reviews.
