I have wanted to take some pics of this & post them for some time but it's just more fun to fish with it than to try to get pictures of it (probably why it's so dirty).

It has a MHX High Mod 7'M-EF Popping blank ,Fuji Micros, Minima seat & I turned the handle down from a piece of Eucalyptus Burl.

The pictures don't do it any justice but it did turn out great.

This pic makes the last 2 wraps look bad for some reason?

Very nice!! I dabbled in rod building a few years back. Wasn't my thing. I did fish the four rods I made for a couple years though. They functioned just fine, they just weren't pretty like yours!!

Thanks guys I had a few problems and more than 1 guide had to be rewrapped before I added the finish. I used Metallic size d thread that was not very user friendly for a first timer but in the end they turned out great.

Looks great, I'd love to be able to do that. I enjoy fly tying and creating things so maybe someday I'll pick it up as a winter hobby. The handle looks great!

Hint= Let DVT do it, the guide wrapping part sucks.
