We are terribly saddened tonight to learn that industry legend Ray Murski, owner of Strike King Lure Company passed away today in a car accident. Such a terrible loss for the fishing industry. He was an incredibly talented person who raised the bar in fishing tackle and gear. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends, and especially the Strike King family.

Wow, that is horrible. I will definitely be keeping Mr. Murski's family in my thought and prayers.

Sad to hear... sounds like he unfortunately drifted into the other lane of a 2 lane highway and collided head on. You just never know when your time is going to be up. Thoughts and prayers for his family... I can only imagine how difficult this is with the addition of it being this time of year. A buddy of mine's dad passed away Christmas morning a couple years ago, and it's a tough day for them to say the least.

Here's a clip of Rays interest and passions when he was inducted in the Texas Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame... He was since inducted into the Bass fishing Hall of Fame.

Dang man :(, I never really knew much about him other than he was the owner, but watching that video, he did a lot for kids, and that's really great. Wish I could have met him. He shall live on through the lures.
