Missouribassman95 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 What do you guys use to carry your soft plastics? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 19, 2011 Super User Posted December 19, 2011 My hands! Har-har.... I use the smaller FTO speed bags. Two of them stacked on top of each other takes up the same room as two 3700 Plano boxes in my tackle bag. In the boat, I use a couple of Rubbermaid bins for it. Quote
psuangler91 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I have an FTO speed bag also, and I have a bag that came with a medium and small tray in it and I removed the medium tray to make room for plastics and use the small tray for terminal tackle. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I live in the PNW and it has been known to rain from time to time. I leave baits in thier original bags and separate them by type in Zip-Lok freezer bags. If I travel and use my soft side, they still go in smaller freezer bags. There's a bunch of ways to pack em' but that works well for me. Quote
tnbassfisher Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Leave them in the bags they come in and then put those into a tackle binder. Quote

Super User deaknh03 Posted December 19, 2011 Super User Posted December 19, 2011 I have the bag Bassmaster gives you for signing up, its perfect for plastics on the boat. Quote
MrSwimJig Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I leave them in their original bags and keep them in big plastic tubs with a sealing lid. Quote
James Yalem Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Utility boxes, Plano or Bass Pro organized by type. Quote
backwater4 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Binders in original bags, separated by style of baits. Quote
I.rar Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 im stuck on shore. i put a few of each bait that i will be fishing into their own sammich bags. those go into my cargo shorts pocket. i cut back alot in my tackle selection so everything i fish with fits into my pockets. Quote

Get a fanny pack or side bag Quote
Scorcher214 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 my BPS stalker bag has enough room for 8 360 boxes, I only use 5, and that makes enough room for a spinnerbait binder and my the plastics that i need. Quote
I.rar Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Get a fanny pack or side bag i do use a 10" tool bag with a tool belt as a shoulder strap when im either going out for a while or with someone else. but most of my fishing is done solo... Quote

Missouribassman95 Posted December 20, 2011 Author Posted December 20, 2011 I was looking at some binders because I want to keep the plastics in their original packages, but I think I'm going to get an FTO speed bag, or two. Quote
msolorio Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 im stuck beatin the banks also. i have a duffle bag with plano stoaway boxes with the different baits i have as well as baits still in original packaging n usually just carry that with me. Quote
Bass Junkie Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Plano 3700 series in a Tackle Logic bag. Works fine by me, and they're all readily available, so I'm not digging through my old system of tubs. Quote
Bigbarge50 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Use the BPS worm binder.... Most stuff stays in their original bags, but some things like most zoom products go loose into bags Model I use is on sale and I must say I really like it http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Extreme-Double-Worm-Binder-Bag/product/10200096/133178 Quote

I highly suggest getting the BPS stalker tackle bag http://www.basspro.com/XPS-Stalker-Tackle-Bag/product/10221672/112339 Although I don't agree with the new color scheme they have chosen (no offense to Florida gators fans), they are great backpacks. Being able to carry 8 360 boxes is awesome. just take out a few boxes to make room for your plastics. I'm sure you do not need really 8 360 boxes just shore fishing haha. I do about 85% of my fishing from shore, and have gone through a good amount of tackle boxes/bags, and the stalker tackle bag is by far the best one I have owned. Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted December 21, 2011 Super User Posted December 21, 2011 I used to keep mine in a big-**** duffel bag that I'd just throw in my boat. Then I realized that I only used 20% of what was in there so now I only carry one Plano FTO Elite Speedbag 4807 Quote
