I just purchased a Chronarch 201E6 and am thinking about pairing it up with a Duckett Micro Magic 6'9 MH. Does anyone have any experience with Duckett's or any other recommendations for rods to pair with this reel?

I have that exact rod. Its a nice rod for the $ no doubt. Not a big fan of the color, but its not that bad. The rod is light, balanced and easily at or above its price point for sensitivity.

I've held a few and they feel nice for sure. They are a little tip heavy but I like that in my rods. It sure will look nice with the Chronarch since they are both white.

I would go with a Cumara (cuc68mh)paired with a Core 100 is what I use..The new Chronarch's ought to pair well with one ..don't know anything about the Duckett's

They are a very good rod. Light, very sensitive, well crafted, and available in any model you'd like. But make sure you hold one in your hands before you buy it, because their rod rating system is a little different from most companies. But over all they are a very good rod.

I own 7 Ducketts....I absolutely love them. I truly believe they are the best bang for the buck of all the rods. I can't believe more people here don't use them. Super light, super accurate and very sensitive!

I have a 7'6 heavy action rod I use for my jig fishing. It is an awesome rod! It its very light weight and has plenty of back bone. It is super sensitive too. I have caught more fish on jigs this past season than I ever have before. I felt subtle bites that I didn't use to feel. They are great rods! You can't go wrong with the Micro Magic! Soon as I have some extra cash, Im going to get me another one!
