Good luck!

Went out Thursday instead, my buddy caught 5 lake snakes on a perch JB, 4 of them in the 4-5lb range. I caught my 1st keeper LM's of 2012 drop shotting the Hammer Shad. Nothing huge but it was still enjoyable catching NE bass mid Feb.

Back on topic, Dates? Times? Location of the get together? :Idontknow:

Ummm.....no one is in charge here.....SW if you have a date in mind then spit it out.....no dates work for everyone but any date is worth a try. The bigger boats are still put away but I like to fish from shore and cook hot dogs too. C'mon guys lets have some ideas...please.

I'm down here in rainy Daytona Beach, waiting to see if they can get the Daytona 500 started.

Looking at the calendar, the 15th should work for me. I'll be heading south with my wife the Wednesday following for the BR Road Trip. Two different parts of the country, but it should provide a good shakedown prior to heading south.

Remember the no lead regs that are now in effect in MA.

For those who are "signing on" for the get together, it's important to know if you are coming as a boater or non-boater. It looks like we will have more boaters this year, which is a good thing.

One more thing. With the price of gasoline, it would be more practical than ever, to car pool as much as possible, and share the travel expenses.

4/15 seems ok for now.....Where are we going? Mashpee?

4/15 works for me. Mashpee would be a great choice. Boater with back seat open for a forum member that commits to being there on that day.

If someone would car pool with me, I'm in southern NH, I could make it, as a non boater.

Deak ..... Grampa and I live just off 495 in Bellingham and Milford respectively ..... both towns are about 10 miles south of Mass Pike/495 intersection. We both have boats so we will both be driving and we usually meet at Home Depot Bellingham. You are welcome to ride with one of us and if you can car pool with someone closer to the NH border them you guys can hook up with us for the remainder of the ride. I think someone posted in the thread from Westford.

I will be there- Boater for the first time. Open seat like the others. Although, I am curious about my boat, the 3 batteries in the back make the boat sit lower in the water, im curious what an average sized male would bring that down too...will have to wait and see but yes i have an open seat.

I also plan on starting the season much earlier than that. I guess in the next couple weeks the weather is supposed to break open and start getting significently (+/-10 degress, hoping for +) different. I plan on getting my paperwork (i.e. registered, plates, fishing license) done this coming monday/tuesday and be ready to fish the first or second week of March.

I am out for that weekend guys. that is a good weekend to hit mashpee though. ABA is fishing Wequaqet so that should help bring down some of the boat traffic/ fishing pressure.

I can't commit to this one right now. I have a new job and wont have every Saturday off for the forseeable future but I'll do what I can to make some of these they're a lot of fun.

Hope you've all been well.
