Was that a Jones sighting? Hey Jones what have you been up to?

Not much, just grinding away. Just got back from Squam Lake for 4 days. It was good, just very hot. A lot of smallmouths too!

Anybody heading out Sat or Sun?

I know I haven't been able to contribute much towards this thread, but we really can't let this die. How about a get togther the 3rd Saturday or Sunday in August - pick the lake - and a follow up outing on Webster lake 2 weeks after Labor Day?

Just a thought?

And a good thought it is.....where would you like to go?

I suggest a trip to the Merrimack River. It was peaceful and quiet, with good fishing, when Grampa took me there a week ago. Have no idea what it's like on the weekend, but we had the river to ourselves, save for a couple of rowing crews, and their "chase boat". There is a water ski course, which one would think is active on the weekends. However, it should not pose a problem, since it can be easily avoided.

Our daughter in GA may have surgery in August. It is the only thing on the horizon thay could prevent my participation. Will find out if, and when, next week.

I would be in for either of those if I can hitch a ride with someone. unfotunately life has gotten in the way of me buying a boat this year. would be nice to get in on one of these and meet a few of the other guys(only met grampa).

I always have a seat and am interested in the middle of August 3-4 weekend, I fished the Merrimack in Lawrence once, but it was a long time ago. Does this mean that we have interest?

freebie, if you can get to the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, I wouldn't mind picking you up?

that works for me if someone has an open boat seat.

I am free on the 26th of august if that is the weekend decided on, wasn't sure wether grampa was talking dates or the 3rd or 4th weekend.

side note: I will be at Whitmans pond in Weymouth monday with a friend if anyone else has the day off and wants to meet up.

We need to check with the Environmental Police to make sure the ramp will be open. They close it when there is a regatta on the river, or if there is a problem with the barrier of blue barrels that are stretched across the river to prevent boaters from getting near the dam below the ramp.

Ummm....I'm only suggesting here....other suggestions are welcome....c'mon fellas.........

If anyone with a boat wants to try some SNH lakes, let me know, if you dont have a boat and dont mind sitting in my canoe, that works as well.

The summer and all the ramp fees are coming to an end. Everyone has had time to hone their skill sets to show off to the group. Who wants a Gettogether in September.....maybe at Cochituate....maybe sunday September 16. Anyone.....Anyone?
