Carrington Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Finished adding everything i wanted onto my savage mark II .22 rifle. I shot my best grouping today which was 5 shots with about a .5 inch grouping at 100 yards. Been happy with the rifle so far. Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted December 10, 2011 Super User Posted December 10, 2011 Nice I like the scope Quote
Carrington Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 thanks, i believe its a bsa sweet 22. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted December 10, 2011 Super User Posted December 10, 2011 Cool how do you like the scope I thought of getting there sweet .17 scope. That's a snazzy 22 though Quote
Carrington Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 i really like it, once i focus the scope in, then it is clear at whichever distance i focused it too. in terms of clearness, this looks the exact same as the nikon scopes i looked at. I would def recommend this if your looking for a great scope for a great price. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 10, 2011 Super User Posted December 10, 2011 The "Sweet" series also come with different turrets that you can switch to match the weight of bullet you are using for trajectory compensation. Carrington, does your rifle have the Accutrigger? Quote
Carrington Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 no it does not, i really wish i could find that trigger after-,market but they dont sell it. im thinking about maybe dropping the trigger to about a 1lb pull or so if i can find one. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 11, 2011 Super User Posted December 11, 2011 That's the same one that I have then. Are you setting it up as a target rifle? Quote
North Ga Hillbilly Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I have a Savage 93R17 BVT that I have set up as a target/ long range varmit gun. I shrank my groups alot by just polishing the internals of the trigger, dropping it to less than a pound resulted in dime size groups, when I dont throw one (a rare occasion) NGaHB Quote

I thought of just getting some valve lapping compound from work and using that on a rag or small buffer. Quote
