bigfishbk86 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hello all! Long time troller, just recently became a member. I've been doing walleye tournaments here in wisconsin for the last 12 years, and decided to give it a break the last few and have taken up bass fishing as my main hobby. I can safely say that that was one of the better decisions i've made in a long while! I've had a blast learning more hands on techniques and using more heavy duty tackle while fishing pads, slop, and deep weeds. Although our season here in wisconsin is mostly over, i've tallied 386 bass this year, with 16 smallies over 5 lbs, and 4 over 6, with the biggest being 6.8lbs (fish in my avatar). I think the walleye background really helps me "pattern" bass better than most anglers, although my techniques still need some fine tuning. Hopefully i can give back at least 5% of what this board has given me! I look forward to contributing when i can and hopefully making some new friends!! Quote

I think your right about your walleye experience helping your bass production. Your bass numbers indicate you have achieved a lot of success already. Quote
