Bass Junkie Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 They also make on called a Moonsault CB 350 which dices around eleven to twelve feet. So you're sayin' its a deep gamble on the Moonsault :-? Quote
Bryce Hagar Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 My best lure is a rebel crawfish. Caught this baby for me! Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted August 14, 2009 Super User Posted August 14, 2009 I can make a deep crank work shallow, but can't make a shallow runner work at 15 ft. Each one is just a tool in the tool box. They all have proper times and places. Quote

Super User Grey Wolf Posted August 14, 2009 Super User Posted August 14, 2009 Wow , 4 1/2 years , now that's digging deep. It's still an apples/oranges answer. Every one has their favorite. Quote
Primus Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 It certainly won't help me in deep water but when shallow I'm very confident with the RC 1.5 in the Ghost color, this has been my favorite crank the last 3-4 years. Quote
Rayraff Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Mann's 1- has caught me more fish than any other crank i've owned. Unfortunatly, they are kind of hit and miss. Some have amazing wobble while others just plain suck. I just took a trip to Boundry Water and I was slaying the smallies on a Rapala Hot Chub Taildancer. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted August 15, 2009 Super User Posted August 15, 2009 No particular brand is the best. The best crankbait is the one out of several dozen of the same brand/size/color that just happens to have the right presence that produces time after time. Most fisherpersons that discover that '"perfect" lure will cherish it/repair it and have it tied on when money/recognition is on the line. Quote
Bryan75 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Rapala original floater color: silver size: F09 I call it ole' faithful. It always works when everything else has been thrown w/ no bites. Quote
