SDoolittle Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I like to fish. = Me gusta pescar. Does that make sense? I'm taking a Spanish class, and for my final project, I have to put together a slide show and describe myself. I want to throw in a fishing picture, but I can't find anything about fishing in the text book. Quote
Stasher1 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I'd love to help you, but even after 3.5 years of Spanish in high school, my Spanish-speaking ability has become rather pitiful. I can only remember two phrases off the top of my head, and I'm reasonably sure neither would be acceptable in your speech. Tu madre es buena en cama. Dos cervezas por favor. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted December 4, 2011 Super User Posted December 4, 2011 Dos cervezas por favor. I think that the only phrase anyone needs to know. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 4, 2011 Super User Posted December 4, 2011 Me encanta pescar. - I love to fish! Quote
SDoolittle Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 Thanks Redline! I just wasn't sure if pescar was the right word or not. Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted December 4, 2011 Super User Posted December 4, 2011 Sorry homie all my Spanish has been learned on a construction site. I'm certain that none of it is acceptable for the classroom let alone public conversation. I can help you with German though. And some Ukrainian. Quote
