Super User the reel ess Posted July 30, 2021 Super User Posted July 30, 2021 I love the anise (licorice) scent. Quote
HaydenS Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 If you guys like the garlic scent, take some spike it dye and a paint brush and paint the inside of your nose! Guaranteed to make you lose your sense of smell and cause bloody noses. Added Bonus: All your nose hair will fall out and you won't have to trim them ever again! 2 Quote
snake95 Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 Big bite baits have a really nice anise. My buddy just gave me a pack of Googan craws. Anise with other flavors! Tastes like Chinese 5-spice. I mean smells. Quote
Luke Barnes Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 I dont know why but gambler scented different lures with different scents. The Gambler Ace smells like straight up garlic and works. The Gambler Flappin Shad I think its called smells totally different. No garlic smell at all, I cant describe the smell but I like it. MaxScent didn't smell anything like I thought it would. Thought it would be a more potent Powerbait smell but was different. Quote

I will be experimenting around with Gambler products as they were highly recommended to me. Big deal in Florida Quote

I have Bang craw/shad and now that I think about it they do smell similar. Quote
