Super User roadwarrior Posted July 29, 2009 Super User Posted July 29, 2009 Rage Tail "coffee". 8-) Quote
JimVT Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Does anyone here have a weird reaction to the gulp juice? It kinda makes my skin tingle, especially if I touch my face. It feels somewhat cooling like there is some type of mint oil in there. I avoid this bait because of this reaction and because I have no idea what's in there. If it's from a natural oil I'm not too concerned but I have no idea what type of chemicals they could be throwing in there. Quote
nickw234 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Rage tail coffee I also find zoom plastics quite pleasant. 8-) Quote
mrlitetackle Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Charlie's worms!!!!!!! seriously, i wish i could eat one myself........... the smell is just all too tempting Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted August 1, 2009 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted August 1, 2009 Bitters Baits, a local bait producer makes their plastics with salt and hog lard. When the temps are up in the 90s they smell like bacon cooking...yuuuuuuummmmmmm. Quote
J-B Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I like to rub a worm behind me ear then go float tubing - nude...the bass and I love it!Too far??? HAHAHA ;D ;D That is great! Thanks for the laugh. Just keep the fish attractant on the plastic worm and there should be no problems with that style of fishing So far I like Zoom and Powerbait. I have thought to "sniff" other plastics yet. Quote
moby bass Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Bought a pack of Luck-e-Strike curly tail worms the other day. Smelled like raspberry or something. Bass liked 'em, got 2, pulling them behind a simple lead head jig. Quote

Super User Crestliner2008 Posted August 13, 2009 Super User Posted August 13, 2009 Worse one is Chompers 4" drop shot worms! Talk about a STRONG garlic stink! You open the pack and the whole boat reeks of it. Almost too much to handle. ;D Quote
sodaksker Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I love to leave a bag of *** in my car. It makes me think I am going fishing everytime I get in my car. Quote
Rayraff Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I loved the scent of the old Mann 's baits. My dad used to fish the Mann's jelly worm. He still has hundreds of them in his garage along with a bottle of the Grape scent. When ever I get wiffs of that scent it brings me back to years ago when I fished with my dad every weekend Quote
Super User CWB Posted August 14, 2009 Super User Posted August 14, 2009 I like to rub a worm behind me ear then go float tubing - nude...the bass and I love it!Too far??? What size "worm" are you using. ;D Jelly Worms were great but pick up some pre-rigged worms from Lil' Mac or Ike Con and they still have that great smell. And they work too. Anywhere, anytime. I do like the smell on Tiki Sticks (Molopo Infused) and I think bass do too. Quote
KocoTheAngler Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 My favorite plastic bait smell has to be the Gary Yamamoto Senko's. The worst is by far the Strike King Nedrig worms. Quote

KocoTheAngler, thank you for reviving this 11 year old thread because I never would have found this thread otherwise. Seems you’re relatively new to BR, welcome :). And if you haven’t posted an introduction in the intro thread, head on over there 1 Quote
