bigtimfish Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Ok so a lot of plastics today come with some kind of stink on them.Maybe I am weird, but I enjoy almost all of them. But there is one in particular that I enjoy the most. I like the way Wave products smell. The whole tiki line. Netbait Pacacraws are up there too. What is yall's favorite stink? P.S. Only the ones that are pre scented 1 Quote

-HAWK- Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 NetBaits smell great. The new Rage Tail "coffee" is excellent, too! 8-) +1 Awesome scent. I also love the smell of Lake Fork garlic impregnated magic shad. Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted July 16, 2009 Super User Posted July 16, 2009 The Tiki smell is mostly anise. You can purchase anise oil, but it is very $$$. You can get anise in the spice aisle at the grocery store and mix it with mineral oil, which is colorless and odorless. It will not harm your plastics. I found an old Tiki Stick on the floor of my boat and it still stunk! Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted July 16, 2009 Super User Posted July 16, 2009 I loved the scent of the old Mann 's baits. x1000 smells just as good as a few "boxes" i have sniffed Quote

Blue Streak Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 I gotta go with the old Mann baits also. Those things came in flavors and smelled good enough to eat. Quote
aarogb Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 I am addicted to the smell of Powerbait. The Strike King coffee scent isn't bad, but I like Powerbait the best. Quote
Bassin for Walleye Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Just got some rage tail craws, opened up the back and thought my nose was on fire. Those things hurt my nostril and all the way back to my throat. Felt like I had strept throat Quote
Bass Junkie Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I kinda like Zoom, but I don't really hav a preference. The worst I've smelled is Cabela's Aqua Glow. Bought a couple packs when I just started bassin'. Opened them on the way home.BIG MISTAKE Those things absolutely reeked of garlic. Every time I smell garlic strongly, I think of those baits. LOL. I also kinda like Culprit. Didn't really think of those........ Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Rage Tail coffee makes me happy and Charlie worms craws as well!!!!!!! Quote
Super User RoLo Posted July 27, 2009 Super User Posted July 27, 2009 The sense of smell is very highly developed in deer and dogs, but is highly unsophisticated in humans beings and fish without barbels. What a pheasant may smell like to a Springer Spaniel bears no resemblance to what it smells like to a human being (if anything). By the same token, it might be presumptuous to think that a scented lure smells the same to fish as it does to us. Roger Quote
