Bad news guys, I switched jobs again, trying to find one where I don’t have to do any work buy still get paid a lot.

Looks like I cant make the roadtrip, too many commitments and not enough time.

Hope to see everyone next year.

Bummer Steezy! With any luck the Roadtrip will be at Falcon next year and I'll definitely see you there! :)

Holy cow! You bear a striking resemblance to one of our moderators named Roadwarrior. I think he's from the Germantown, TN area also!

I'm starting to think that everyone from Germantown looks the same!

Wow, they sure do grow 'em ugly in Germantown! :D

BS aside, Ick, welcome to BassResource and welcome to the Road Trip. Looking forward to meeting you. Now to the details. If you will read the first post on the first page of this thread, you will note that we require a signed Registration Form. Please complete it and get it back to me ASAP. An email pdf is acceptable.

Ick's picture is also from the TN River, RW's favorite place to fish!

Just a little update folks. The location of our Saturday night sworereray is yet to be determined. Our hamburger and red-beans-and-rice meals will take place a short walking distance from the hotel, down on the lake-side, weather permitting. If weather doesn't permit we will all be S.O.L. Our Wednesday evening dinner will be held in a private room at the Top O' the River restaurant, which is very close to our hotel. The Top O' the River is primarily a seafood restaurant, but other meal options are available. The average meal cost is between $11 and $15 and the cost is on you. You can visit the restaurant's web site at

http://www.topotheri...62ad45f2fb10cb6

All events will kick off at 6:00 P.M. If there is not an event planned for that day I beg that all boaters with room available for co-anglers, and all co-anglers who need a ride, to meet in the hotel lobby at 6:00 P.M. Boaters and co-anglers, please try to rotate as much as possible. The more people we meet, the more friends we make.

Sounds like a good trip. Anyone have an extra bunk available?

Hey ick. I have a spare bed available from Saturday night through Monday night. I'll be arriving late Saturday afternoon, leaving Tuesday morning.

I booked a room with two beds just in case.

You're welcome to it.

Let me know. Chhers,

I have room on my boat for the 24th, 25th, 26th & 27th.

I'd love to fill one of those seats on the 24th or 25th.

Mike, How are we doing on rooms, also? If some needs to share a room in order to make the Road Trip I can change from a single room to a double if need be. Female roommates preferred :)

Rhino, based SOLELY upon the Registration Forms I have received, AND assuming that each boater will fish with only one co-angler, we will have ten seats available and ten people needing seats. The plus side is that a number of we boaters can fish with two co-anglers. What throws a monkey wrench into the works is that different boaters and co-anglers will be arriving and departing at various dates of the week. That's why every evening I will poll the members of the group. NO ONE will be left standing on the bank.

Traveler, I'm leaving it up to the members to post on this forum if they need a bed or have a bed, and then contact each other. If a member cannot find a bed, then they need to contact me via PM.

As it stands, I have open seats on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I'm there for the duration, arriving Friday, the 20th (around daybreak), and leaving the following Friday, after fishing, and spending that night at my daughter's in GA.

You the man Rhino! Maybe a big LM this year to go with the big smallie you caught from last year with the old man huh?

I'll never forget that fish. Your old man was whooping and hollering more than me. Your dad not only reminds me of Shelby Stanga, but also the alligator hunter who say choot 'em, choot 'em. What's interesting is that was my biggest fish of the KY trip, and a smallmouth was my biggest fish of the trip at Pickwick as well. Uncle Leo topped that smallmouth at Pickwick by a half pound,

It was Fred (Old Cranky) that hooked that SM. All I did was put him on the spot and lipped it.

Hey Unc', I've been thinking about you with the Road Trip coming up and all. Haven't seen you here lately. Was worried that something had happened to you. Glad to see you're still alive and kicking.

Guntersville experts -- anyone care to take a stab at the "must have" tackle us non-locals should be sure to have with us for the road trip? I'll probably order a few odds n' ends from Tackle Warehouse so I was just wondering if there was anything specific I should add.

With the way the fish are acting here in ATL, it seems it's fishing 4-6 weeks ahead of the calendar so I'm not sure if that's also the case on the Big G or not.
