MMan16 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Any one know of any goods ones for either PS3 or Wii? I have played a couple but never really cared for any. Quote

Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted November 30, 2011 Super User Posted November 30, 2011 I heard it's nubs. Now for the OG's and OOG's on this forum, what does "nubs" mean. Dagnab kids and ur newfangled slang. Quote

dulouz Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I have BPS The Strike for the Wii and it is pretty fun, but I haven't tried any others. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 30, 2011 Global Moderator Posted November 30, 2011 I have BPS The Strike for the Wii and it is pretty fun, but I haven't tried any others. The Strike is a pretty decent game. I have a Shimano game also that is a couple years old that is pretty fun, mainly because you can also go bowfishing or spearfishing along with rod and reel fishing. Quote

JIGFISHERMAN. Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I've got the KVD game....Not impressed. Might be just me though. I rarely play, and only for a little at a time before I lose interest. Usually only football or racing because of the higher action/pace Quote
NateFollmer Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 It's not just you JigFisherman... You could put me in the 'hardcore gamer' category and I find it absolutely terrible. It's so bad, I wouldn't play it if it was free. Worst $20 I ever spent. Stay away from the KVD game... Just don't even try it. BPS The Strike is probably the best game out there now. The Rapala games are kind of fun too, but what I hate about them is all fish fight the same. It doesn't matter if you're using a spinning rod with 4 lb test or a baitcaster with 100 lb test... You can catch any fish with the same amount of work (and you can catch Salmon on there that are massive). My all time favorite fishing game has to be Mark Davis: The Fishing Master for SNES... I still play it today, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26xU3MfOA-s Quote

NateFollmer Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Ya I remember SNES had a few good fishing games.... Jimmy Houstons game was fun also... And those Bassmaster games! They don't make 'em like they used too Quote

They don't make 'em like they used too The one for Dreamcast was one of the best but this was my all time favorite game. Not my picture but I had this bundle for the ps1. Seems like all the new stuff just not that great or at least not getting good reviews. 1 Quote
MMan16 Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 It just seems like it could be a real cool game to make with all the game technology thats out there. Maybe there isnt enough demand for it. I have the rapala one and can play it maybe 30 minutes then im good for 6 months. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted November 30, 2011 Super User Posted November 30, 2011 What about the old hand held games thT were just black and white and they would vibrate when ya got a hit and u set the hook and it would fight you. Quote

Oh man I forgot I had that... It had a little 'scale' on the bottom that would tell you how big the fish was... That thing was awesome! http://www.amazon.com/Radica-Lunker-Bass-Fishing-Handheld/dp/B0002XC8QO Quote

wisconsin heat Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 i had "tp angler" for the playstation 2. it was a really fun game, and compared to most fishing games, very realistic (not graphics wise, but the lure selection, way the lures moved, etc.)It was fun and very challenging at times. I say was because i broke it about a year ago man i miss it. Quote
wisconsin heat Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 also, nothing can compare to how pitifully bad "Cabela's monster bass" is. i played it probably 3 times and set it down forever. THE WORST 20$ ive ever spent. Quote
