Sfritr Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Hopefully, this will clear up some questions/concerns regarding this great product. There have been numerous threads about seafoam and they always seem to pop up every few months. Although I found the article on another site I hope it is able to be posted: Enjoy http://www.maxim-x.com/seafoam.html#whatdoesitdo Quote
NitroZ9 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I have used Sea Foam for years . Recently, I read an article comparing different brands of fuel treatments in regards to the ethanol problem. The article said you should not use a fuel treatment which adds additional alcohol or attracts water. Sea Foam does both of these. That made sense to me and even though I have never had any problems using Sea Foam, I changed over to another fuel treatement that doesn't have alcohol or attract water. This seemed to be an impartial article and was not endorsing any particular brand of treatment. Quote
