nickw234 Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I just picked up my first tru-life swimbait. What is the best presentation for these types of swimbaits? I will be fishing clear water. Thanks Quote
aarogb Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Slow, steady retrieve in all types of water clarity works for well for me. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted August 11, 2009 Super User Posted August 11, 2009 when i fish swimbaits i like a steady retrieve, really fast retrieve, or a steady retrieve broken up with twitching. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted August 11, 2009 Super User Posted August 11, 2009 x2 above replies. If you are using a floater then add deadsticking to the list. Make it act like a baitfish just lazily swimming along sunning itself. * Also want to add that if you are using the floater/slow sink and using no balls in it then it can't handle a very fast retrieve. It will roll on it's side.
