paul mueller Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Here is a video on how to catch smallmouth during the tough conditions of fall turnover phase: Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted November 23, 2011 Super User Posted November 23, 2011 Welcome to BR Paul. Cool video. I have to say though - a fall crankbait bite in 58 degree water, at least in this neck of the woods, is Always a PRE - Turnover period. No doubt it's a great time to fish as the bass are eager to chase down the bait and hammer it. The Turnover here is characterized by colder dirty water and the fish are rarely as charged up about eating especially a fast moving horizontal presentation. I really have to force feed them with something low and slow to get them to bite at all. Those surely are some hefty smallies either way. A-Jay Quote
