MrsTomustang Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 5 days and hanging in there. Today was tough though. I tried the chantix a few years ago and it made me sick. How goes the battle FishinDaddy? I've quit and relapsed many times. How ya' doin, Sir? Jenn Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 4, 2011 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 4, 2011 Still hanging in there. It is still difficult but luckily I have been super busy and not much time to think about it. I did 25 miles on the mountain bike last weekend. That's a personal best. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 4, 2011 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 4, 2011 keep it up man!! I smoked for 10 years or so then started dippig, been on that for another 10 years. I plan to quit on my birthday, which is Thanksgiving day. I figure ten years of each is enough. Cliff How's the quitting? Quote
MrsTomustang Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Good to hear! Amazing how the physical activity can help. That's how I stayed smoke free for one of my longest 'breaks'. Became addicted to working out instead of smoking. Stay strong and take care. Quote
lazeebum Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 The money not spent on tobacco will be enjoyed in boat gas, fishing lures, and food. Food will taste much better. Lungs operate better. It has been six years since my last puff. Hang in there. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 7, 2011 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 7, 2011 I don't know about hero, but thanks anyway. I can already smell and taste more. We went out to Beefs on Sunday and people were smoking outside and I could smell it every time the door opened. Quote
loodkop Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hang tough. I just bought myself a new reel as reward for 3 months without smoking. It gets easier everyday. Chris Quote
