I have a 7' Medium action spinning rod that I use now. I only have one spinning combo and I would like to add another. What actions do you recommend most? I'm fine with either a shorter rod or a longer rod just need some feedback on what might be best.

Thanks!

7'M XF covers so many techniques IMO.

Can use that for almost everything you would want to use on a spinning rod.

Since you only have one now, and didn't specify what you wanted to use it for, I'm assuming you want something as universal as you can find, and I think the above rod fits the bill.

I have several spinning combos right now with a 7' M/F that I use for shallow to mid cranks. I have a 7' MH/F Tube and Jig rod and I also have a 6'9" M/F that I use as a plastics rod.

You need either/or.

1. med/hvy power , fast action rod in any length you feel comfortable with.

2.med/hvy power , extra fast action in any length you feel comfortable with.

I have a nice spinning reel that I used for about 5 minutes. Wanna buy it??? I even have the rod. I'll make you a heck of a price on a package deal. The reel is a Saros 2500F and the rod a St Croix Premier. 6'6" and I think medium/fast.

It's Christmas time and I'll make a deal!

I think I'd probably add 2 more rods to that one. One 6'or 6' 6" MH/F for skipping and another one around a 7' ML/F or ML/XF for drop shots and swimming grubs.
