I have been fishing deep cranks in standing timber lately and I am catching a lot of fish but also loosing a lot of lures. I am curious if the ring should be lighter than the line (ex. 10lb ring with 12lb line) or if it should be the same rating. Quote

Crappiebasser Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 I do have a telescopic pole and and lure retriever on a string but the pole is only 16ft and the string one usually doesn't work. I didn't mind too much until I lost my favorite LC D20 today. It's embarrassing to cry with a co-angler in the boat. Quote
