Super User BASSclary Posted November 13, 2011 Super User Posted November 13, 2011 Seems like the O-line has improved the last few games and it seems with Jones out and Murray in we have a running game. I hope Murray is the real deal for our back, because he's been nothing short of stellar so far. Romo was on fire his last two games as well. Once we get Miles back from his hammy I think we will be pretty hard to beat. Our defense on gave up 7 playing Buffalo too, but I dont think they're very consistent on the defensive side. Lol. 44-7, to the Boys Quote
OHIO Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I hate the Cowboys, but Murray and Romo have been giving me a lot of fantasy points. They're playing great right now, but they could be doing better on defense. They had a fluke defensively today IMO. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 14, 2011 Super User Posted November 14, 2011 Will be interesting to see if Jones retains the current coaching staff after the season or if he goes for Satan from Bamasux. Quote
endless Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Thanks to us 49er's your team might have a shot a playoff with one game behind Giants now that we beat them and your team won today!! My brother is Cowboy fan and not to gloat on our 8-1 season cause so far our only loss came across them Cowboys in OT at our home. But great victory against the Bills. 44-7 3 int!! Nice!! Not to mention Romo 3 TD's. Quote
preach4bass Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I was able to witness a rare perfect day in the NFL. The Cowboys won (in blowout style)! Then, the Redskins, Eagles, and Giants all lost. Perfect day for Cowboys fans. They don't come around very often, so I'm going to enjoy it today. 1 Quote

OK Rams beat Browns but Cardinals beat Eagles and I was shock and bet the Seahawks fans was too beat the Ravens the way they did. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 The Cowboys will be facing some weak teams over the next few weeks so I won't be surprised if they are 8-4 by the end of November. That being said the season really depends on how well the come together as a team over the next few weeks. We shall see what we shall see. Capt.O Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted November 21, 2011 Author Super User Posted November 21, 2011 'Nother W, but didn't look so hot getting it. Definitely a nail biter until the end though. Great game, no matter the outcome. Dallas looks pretty poised to get a nice bit of momentum going into those last divisional games. We shall see though. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted November 21, 2011 Super User Posted November 21, 2011 Just heard about it, Gano really set the boys up since he missed 1 Quote

Super User tomustang Posted November 21, 2011 Super User Posted November 21, 2011 I wonder if he shall keep his job now. Why not, they're keeping shanahan Quote
endless Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Why not, they're keeping shanahan If I was Dallas kicker I would of went over and shook Shanahan hand for that timeout called! Come on dumb coach move with 3 seconds of play clock left and Romo was signaling a timeout that they did not have? Shanahan saved them a delay of game penalty. But good news for Cowboys now they are ahead in their division with Giants losing to Eagles and being 1-2 in the division. I just look at their schedule the Cowboys have the Giants at the Giants home for their season game. Imagine somehow it comes down to that game for division winner! 1 Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 21, 2011 Super User Posted November 21, 2011 Big deal, the Cowboys beat the Redskins. Everybody beats the Redskins. 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 21, 2011 Super User Posted November 21, 2011 Big deal, the Cowboys beat the Redskins. Everybody beats the Redskins. That's what I was thinking, and I'm a Cowboys fan. Woo hoo! They BARELY won a game in OT they should have dominated. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 If you are a Cowboys fan then you know that any win against the Redskins at their house is huge no matter what. Face it they could be the worst team in the league but when they play Dallas at their house they become a team of super stars. Hey I take the win not matter how bad Capt.O Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 22, 2011 Super User Posted November 22, 2011 I'm looking ahead to when they face real teams with real coaching. Quote
GLADES Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Up next, the 3-7 Miami Dolphins. It should be an easy victory for the Boys..right? Quote
OHIO Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I'm looking ahead to when they face real teams with real coaching. Like who? The best team they play coming up is the Giants and they aren't even that great. They just lost to an Eagle team without their starting QB. I don't think your wish will come true unless they make the playoffs. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 22, 2011 Super User Posted November 22, 2011 Sad news, BASSclary. Rumors are around saying that the University of Texass is going to offer Nickie Satan of Bamasux $7.5 million for ten years to coach the Shortribs. If so, Jerry will have to come up with $8 million to lure Satan to the Cowgirls and that may not happen. Just hope Romeo does not get injured for the remainder of this season. And then come the playoffs: Saints, Falcons, 49ers and the dreaded Packers. Quote

GLADES Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Satan has an ego as big as Jerry Jones. They will need to increase the headroom in the stadium. Quote
OHIO Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 That's what I meant. You guys are slow today, LOL. Well I was kind of saying they won't make the playoffs. Even though they aren't playing great teams coming up, I don't think they're consistent enough to keep winning. I could be wrong, but I don't think Romo can keep this up. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 22, 2011 Super User Posted November 22, 2011 Dallas needs either an elite QB or a top tier team built around a second tier QB (Romo), right now they have neither. They will probably make the playoffs, but will not go far. But, and a big but, you never know, thats why they play the games.. Quote

I will agree Romo is a second tier QB, but none the less they have a pretty good offense around him (When everyone is healthy mind you.) The O-line is pretty new, and inconsistent. Sure, thats a problem. Our Running game has been MUCH better with Murray in, and after 5 games I believe he's for real. We'll find out though. But we have a nice Tight end group led by Witten, some very nice recievers in Austin, Bryant, and an emerging Larrany Robinson. However, I'm not a big fan of our defense right now. We get ran all over and picked apart to death in the middle. Our corners are doing okay at best. Quote
