flippin and pitchin Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Being a long time Ducks fan, I had hoped they would beat Stanford but would not have put money on it. A great win for sure. Boise State looses and the BCS ratings will be interesting. Now what will USC do to the new PAC 12 ??? Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted November 13, 2011 Super User Posted November 13, 2011 Wait a second, hold up. You mean that even though Boise State lost we are still gonna have to hear about them? Granted I will give them the fact that they beat Georgia the first game of the year. Which seeing as how Georgia destroyed Auburn today, is probably saying something. Even if Auburn is horrible this year. Awww who am I kidding. Boise State has a dang fine football program, and has for the last however many years. I'm glad they are finally getting some recognition for their program. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted November 13, 2011 Super User Posted November 13, 2011 I'm upset. I kind of wanted Alabama play Boise in the Sugar Bowl. Quote
SDoolittle Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I love college football! Now that BSU and Stanford are no longer unbeaten, there are going to be a whole lot of one loss teams hoping for LSU or OSU to slip up. I'm curious to see the BCS rankings this week. Here are my top five: 1.LSU 2.OSU 3.Oregon 4.Bama 5.Oklahoma Here is my fearless prediction: LSU, Oregon, and Bama win out. OU defeats OSU on 3 Dec, and in doing so, they jump Oregon and Bama in the BCS to set up a rematch of the 2003 Sugar Bowl. The results will be strikingly similar. OU's defense will come to play, but the loss of their leading rusher and their NCAA record holding receiver will slow their relentless offensive attack. Final score: LSU 21 - OU 14. Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Even if LSU looses to Arkansas or Georgia, I think they deserve to be in the National Title. They have already beaten two of the teams in the hunt for the BCS Title (Bama and Oregon). I really believe that It will be a rematch between LSU vs. Bama. Its going to be a high scoring game too, at least compared to the last time these two met up . 17-13 LSU. Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 15, 2011 Super User Posted November 15, 2011 Many sportswriters and others in the college football industry do not want the SEC to continue their BCS winning streak. I think it will be an SEC team vs. another conference in the title game. What ever happens it has been a fun college football season. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted November 16, 2011 Super User Posted November 16, 2011 My fearless prediction for the BCS championship game. OSU 41, LSU 17 ... but I could be wrong. Quote
