Super User Bassn Blvd Posted November 10, 2011 Super User Posted November 10, 2011 Senile....this is the best post I have ever seen on this site. The judgement DISGUSTS me.....from all of you. So many armchair quarterbacks, gladly jawing off their opinions, when they have zero......ZERO facts on the situation. I bet none of the members on this site have been faced with turning in a loved one or someone your close with. Joe Paterno did what he had to do and let his superiors deal with it. It was THEIR choice on what to do with it. Joe had no idea whether the allegations were true or not and frankly, it was none of his business. I'll bet your membership on this forum that you're wrong.
senko_77 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Your statement is so FAR from the truth. I hope no one follows your stupid advice. In fact, your post should be removed. Quite the contrary.....his post should be framed and preached to all. When you HEAR something.....you don't call the police. You report it to the people you are supposed to report it to. Do you know how many innocent men are in jail in this country because of hear-say and not actual fact? You don't have a clue.
senko_77 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Bassn, your wanting Senile's post removed and your now wanting to bet on my membership on a bass fishing forum???? What gives?
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted November 10, 2011 Super User Posted November 10, 2011 Bassn, your wanting Senile's post removed and your now wanting to bet on my membership on a bass fishing forum???? What gives? Unless Im reading Senile's post wrong, he is telling people not to report alleged sexual abuse cases to the authorities unless they are basically eye witnesses to the abuse. He is saying that you, the reporter, will/can be charged with filing a false police report, which is so far from the truth. You said "I bet none of the members on this site have been faced with turning in a loved one or someone your close with." I disagree. What would make you think that no one on this site has never been faced with turning in a loved one or someone close ? All I'm sayimg is, I bet you're wrong. If you stand by your statement and actually believe no one has ever turned in a loved one to the authorities, then I say put your money where your mouth is and remove yourself as a member if you're proved wrong. 1

They are in jail because they were convicted by a jury of their peers.
senko_77 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Bassn, let's pretend we are both adults here and look at Senile's comment.....he is clearly saying that it is WRONG to go to the police when all you have is someone telling you what they saw. The graduate assistant who supposedly witnessed the act told his superior, Paterno, and Paterno told his superior. His superiors did nothing, therefor giving Paterno the right of way to continue on. Paterno believed that IF something HAD happened, they would take care of it. I would love to here from someone who has turned in a loved one. I am very interested to know the details surrounding the situation. As for me "putting my money where my mouth is and removing yourself as a member".......EL OH EFFING EL. Your a joke...nothing more. At least your old *** can still make me laugh a bit!!! 1

senko_77 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 No, you're wrong. They are in jail because they were convicted by a jury of their peers. Oh....oh am I? My father has been sitting in a prison cell the last 6 years of his life. Was it because he was convicted by a jury of his peers? Nope. So tell me, Bassn......you OBVIOUSLY know what your talking about when it comes to the legal system....am I wrong. Have I not seen what I have seen? Have I not been a victim of one of the most corrupt, unjust legal systems in the world? I wanna know man....you must know. 2
