http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/32223/richardsons-cell-phone-blowing-up

Shows how classy they are in bayou country. Since they put a cell tower in the swamp, LSU fans like to call the star of the other team before the big games. Funny part? All of that heckling from the fan base, and I bet none of them will step on the field and attempt to tackle Trent Richardson. Grow up.

Then another story is, LSU's TE thinks Alabama's LBs and Safety cannot cover him because they're slow...Ask Jeff Demp and Rainey how often they got passed them....

No dog in this fight, but seriously?? It's a phone call ....

I cannot interpret if that in reference to me for complaining about phone calls or to LSU fans..If it in reference to my post, then are saying it's acceptable for a fan base to find a way to obtain another player's phone number and blow it up all day? If so, let's all find nothing better to do with our lives but gain phone numbers of players on opposing teams and heckle them before every game. TR has two daughters, what if there was an emergency and he couldn't talk to his family because of constant harassment from fans?.. It's stupid and immature. Bottom line.

Root Beer, southern football is a way of life. A religion.

Fans do all sorts of crazy things.

I think it is funny that the fans can call the other players. It is part of the fabric of southern football.

Warm days; beautiful nights; pretty coeds; great food; good friends; and the top of the line football just can't be beat.

Try it one weekend. Hit one of the SEC schools, other than Vandy, and have a good time.

Have some fun. See what a game in Tiger Satdium, Bryant-Denny or Neyland stadiums and you may actually enjoy yourself and have a good time. ;)

Aavery, maybe you should read my second post..Sam, no it's not funny blowing up players cell phone. In fact I should get the "Honey Badger" number and blow his phone up for being dirty. I've been to Neyland Stadium. I've seen Alabama play at Legion Field and Neyland. Still waiting to go to Bryant-Denny.

I hear what you are sayin, but do you honestly think that if there was an emergency he could not have found another phone to use? He also could have used email, skype, lots of other means of communication. I understand your disapointment with Alabama losing an important game.

And for the record TM7 play wasnt dirty. Stupid? yes. Holding? yes. Penalty worth? Absolutely. Dirty? No He knew Kirkpatrick got passed him so he grabbed Kirkpatrick on the shoulder and held him.

Yes on the replay it did look like a clothesline but seriously TM7 weighs 175lbs soaking wet. Kirkpatrick weighs 200lbs. It was a stupid hold and unfortunately the momentum whipped Kirkpatrick to the ground causing the injury. It sux but it was a physical game and that kind of stuff is going to happen. If you guys would have won this would have not been brought up. Besides it backed us up 2 the 10 so hell it helped u guys out.

Real classy fans you got there.

I live in Bama and I am surrounded by people just like this guy. Without a doubt your fan base is the WORST in the country. I deal with them everyday. Hell my dad is a BAMA fan. It must be something in the ink they use on the crimson clothing it must bleed through and cause hillbilly, redneck, never forgetting the past (BEAR) stupidity. END RANT!!!

What if ... What if ... What if there was a family emergency during the game ... maybe he shouldn't play .... maybe he shouldn't play football at all .... Yes these things are ridiculous, but what if "enter any excuse here".

To me if you get into big time athletics at any level you know what you are getting into. A certain level of harassment should be expected. Am I saying that is right .... NO, but it comes with the territory. And for you to think that this is specific LSU fans is ridiculous. I guess Bama fans don't do anything like this?? Come on man. This stuff goes on all over the country.

More to the story than we know.

Somebody said something or made a dirty hit.

It look like retailation for something that had happened earlier in the game.

The Honey Badger has never done that sort of thing so it will be interesting to find out why he did it.

What was fun was watching the faces on the Bamasux fans when they knew their executioner was a Coonass in a jockstrap and there was nothing they could do. Now that's funny!!!! :D:D:D
