EJVH3 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I have played with painting crankbaits in the past. For years I did it for tournament and pro anglers and even had my lures in a few local stores. I gave it up after getting married and having kids. Just don't have the time or will to paint like that anymore. Now I paint for myself maybe 2-3 times a season. Here is an example of my past work. Not sure I can paint like this anymore though. Quote

EJVH3 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 Looks great Man!! You should pick the hobby back up, whenever you have the time. I will always paint for myself when I need that special color for a tournament. With a two year old and another due in March 2012, it doesn't leave me time to just sit down and be creative. Maybe this winter, who knows. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted November 4, 2011 Super User Posted November 4, 2011 Beautiful work. Maybe you should pick it up again. Falcon Quote
EJVH3 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 Here are a couple more older lures. These I bet I painted at least 6-7 years ago. No way I can paint like this anymore without lots of practice. Quote
EJVH3 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 These are a little more recent. I'd say about 2-3 years ago. remember I stopped painting creatively and for business about 2 1/2 years ago. Quote
