flyhatch Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Last sunday we went to the big lake and caught good numbers but nothing over 4 pounds. Today we found some big hungry footballs. While weighing a six pounder it broke our digital scale. The next one I landed was much bigger looking but we could not get a weight on it. we landed seven each,It was like 30 degrees this morning making for a real chilly ride. Water temp was still in the fifties. Quote

flyhatch Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 Ready to hit the water! We went back up this past Sunday and smashed them in near "Deadliest Catch" like conditions. caught around 25 in less than 2 hrs fishing time. Its one thing to get bucketfulls of ice water to the face and getting bounced around by four foot waves and putting up with rain driven by 15 to 20 knot winds and not catch anything, but when your landing 3 and 4 pounders nonstop you dont notice the conditions near as much.
