AirbusAngler Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Just a poll out of curiosity. No need for your *secret rig* or anything (unless u want to share ) just in general Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted October 26, 2011 Super User Posted October 26, 2011 Anything that imitates a bait fish. 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 Can never go wrong with a jig. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 Spinnerbait for me...at least down to about 39-40deg surface water temp. I'll go to Plan B when the water gets much into the '30s. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 "One lure" would always be a jig, even if another would be better! If it's just about "catching", nothing beats a Rage Tail Single Tail Grub this time of year...NOTHING. :D Quote
JigMe Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 It depends on the water temperature, if it's a warm day then I will use jerk baits. On the opposite, if it's cold then jigs. 1 Quote
Shifty Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 jig w/trailer.....crazy leg chigger craw...or a super fluke Quote
Wisconsin Heat. Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Spinnerbait gets the nod here, bluegill shades have been producing all year, and still are when the fish are shallow enough. Quote

gr8outdoorz Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Liplelss crank for me! Red Eye Shad's and Rattletrap's make me a happy fisherman in the fall! Quote
bwell Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 You can never go wrong with a jig... Give me a Northstar jig and rage tail baby craw and I am set! Quote
Super User senile1 Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 Nothing beats a jig and trailer for me. I use a GMAN jig with a Rage Tail Craw. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 Shad colored crankbait. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 I can't even vote since there is no jerkbait category. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 I went with the jig. That is my favorite way of fishing, and if I had to pick one that's it. I may catch more fish on a crank, or jerkbait, or spinner/chatter bait. I definitely use all of them this time of year. I will still take my chances with the jig. Quote
Super User deep Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 "One lure" would always be a jig, even if another would be better! X2 Quote

If it's just about "catching", nothing beats a Rage Tail Single Tail Grub this time of year...NOTHING. :D Yep! No matter what time of year, if I had to chose "one lure", it would be a jig. Tom Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Had to go with the texas rig...........plastic worms have been catchin fish in all seasons for many years and will continue to do so for many more.. Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I can't even vote since there is no jerkbait category. I voted crankbait/spinnerbait because I thought it was closest to a jerkbait. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 Jigs seem to be the most consistent around here when the weather starts getting chilly. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted October 27, 2011 Super User Posted October 27, 2011 That's made by Talon right? Quote
