Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted October 20, 2011 Super User Posted October 20, 2011 News reports are all saying that Gadhafi is dead today. Libyan PM has also confirmed it according the ABC News. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted October 20, 2011 Super User Posted October 20, 2011 Yup that's the word here also one of Sgt came up and told me about it. He said the rebels wounded and captured him now he's dead. I haven't read any new bout it yet though Quote

GLADES Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 The Libyan despot is gone, now another will take his place. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 21, 2011 Global Moderator Posted October 21, 2011 The Libyan despot is gone, now another will take his place. That's the unfortunate truth, doesn't matter how many of them get killed, another will always be right there to take their place. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted October 21, 2011 Super User Posted October 21, 2011 I find it funny how there's pictures all over the news. Yet Bin laden pictures were too "graphic"....Makes me wonder sometimes.... Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 21, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 21, 2011 Ummm....lessee, Ghadafi was paraded around in front of throngs of people. Bin Laden...not so much. Think about it dude. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted October 21, 2011 Author Super User Posted October 21, 2011 I would post the link to the video, but it is extremely graphic. People were basically dancing around his body after he was killed. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted October 21, 2011 Super User Posted October 21, 2011 There's tons of videos on live leak of it Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 21, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 21, 2011 That's my point. There's tons of videos and pictures taken by the masses that are being posted anywhere and everywhere. The photos of Bin Laden were taken under tight security and not released. Quote
GrundleLove Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 During the time of Bin Laden's death there was all sorts of economic crisis talk, and things on our homefront where not so ideal, what's better than rallying the country then saying we killed Bin Laden, then things will mull over for a while. Think about it, buried him at sea? no photos? nothing just someones word? Pfft. I'm not buying it. Pics or GTFO 'merica Quote

Pics or GTFO 'merica He's dead I doubt the burial at see but I believe he's dead he was very public releasing videos and such if we didn't really kill him he would of released something by now or it would of been denied by his comrades the c sucker is dead. The part I find fishy bout his whole thing is that a month later a chinook carrying seal team six the same ones that took him out crashed killing everyone though they say none were the members in the bin landen raid Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 21, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 21, 2011 OMG! You're right! He's hanging out with Elvis and Kennedy! Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted October 22, 2011 Super User Posted October 22, 2011 Personally speaking I thought not plastering pics all over the place by the administration was the right thing to do. American troops were directly involved in the entire Bin Laden military mission, I believe that was proper decorum pertinent to the situation. Khadafi ( everyone spells it different) on the other hand was killed by rebel countrymen and the pictures posted originated from them or local medi.a. I can understand them wanting bragging rights, until the next dictator comes along, but I believe civilized countries should hold themselves to higher standards. I really get no extra charge by seeing graphic pictures of someones demise. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Perhaps they just captured Osama, and are holding him for question. He could be dead, he could be alive. We will never know. Quote

We will never know. You really wouldn't know even if you saw a body in a picture or on tape..........could always be a body double. Only the person that killed him knows for sure. Quote
