Super User iceintheveins Posted October 20, 2011 Super User Posted October 20, 2011 What type of action does the Eerattic shad have, in comparison to an X - Rap or pointer? Quote
Primus Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Sorry I can't be of more help, I have a couple and caught a couple of fish on it this spring but to be honest I didn't throw it much as I stuck with my bread & butter jerkbaits. Your post reminds that I should give it a good look this fall. I can't recall the details as to the action of the bait. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted October 20, 2011 Super User Posted October 20, 2011 I believe it's more erratic. 1 Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted October 21, 2011 Super User Posted October 21, 2011 It's actually not as wide as a Pointer, but rolls like an X-rap. I don't like the Xrap much in cold water, it's too wild and swings too wide. The Eeratic is a fairly predictable bait with a nice tight wiggle that works well around that 62 degree mark and lower. Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 21, 2011 Global Moderator Posted October 21, 2011 The Eeratic shad has a more subdued action like Hooligan said. It is a very consistant bait and casts well and catchs fish. I also found it to be a good if not my best option in colder water. I'm a fan of them as I caught my biggest largemouth of the year on one. Quote
