Nkybassfisherman Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 i was thinking about using them for my cranks and depp cranks?? got any others you would recommend?? Quote
jaym137 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I use the 3730 for large musky lures, however, I also use them for all my bass cranks(which I have a ridiculous amount) but I find that the 3730 holds an enormous amount of bass cranks. I seperate them into shallow/midsize/ and deep cranks. The key is to use small rubber or elastic bands to hook over the trebles of each lure. Twist ties work too. With that setup tangles are just about eliminated and you can quickly pick up a lure from anywhere in the box without 10 other cranks tangled to each other. Quote
Bass Junkie Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 You don't like swimbaits do ya Branuss04???? Quote
carrothead Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 What do you use that middle swimbait in the bottom box for? It's gotta be a foot long and weigh 5 pounds, right? Quote
Branuss04 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 What do you use that middle swimbait in the bottom box for? It's gotta be a foot long and weigh 5 pounds, right? 12" Osprey Talon Inline. Weights 10oz. There is a lake i've been fishing where the big girls are starting to get anxious for some good grub. Hudds haven't been getting any attention, so I've been throwing the big guns. BA Armageddon, 10" 2X4, 12" Osprey, etc. Haven't got any on the Osprey yet, but have had a couple good followers . The tail kick on it it pretty intense, so it really sets the fish off. You don't like swim baits do ya Branuss04???? Actually right now... NO!!! Don't have a truck anymore to pull my boat, so I've been trying the swimbait from shore thing. Let's just say I'm looking HARD to find a new truck. It's like going from Fillet Mignon to a london broil. :-[ . That's the name of the game right! Quote
Bass Junkie Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I feel for ya :-/ :-/ Nut hey, thats fishin'. BTW, if ya need a place to store those big, heavey boxes, let me know. I'll be happy to help ya out!!!!! While your lookin', why don't you "test drive" truck and dock your boat at a safe place?? Might work better than sittin' on tera firma. Just a suggestion.......
