Picked up some big ez's today and I noticed some of the tails were a little crooked. Do any of you boil the tails to straighten them out or just roll with them the way they are?

Just got some that were the same way...I'm sure it will change the swimming action in some way, which worries me because I bought about ten packs hah.

I wish they came in blister packs, but you can't beat the price and I've only heard good things about them

Hey guys, this is something we are working on. We have a gusseted bag we are testing to see if it keeps the tails from being crooked. Boiling will work, or you can leave them out of the bag and they will come back to form. I usually throw a few on the deck as I am fishing and the sun heats them up. Also will depend on how you are fishing it. If you are using a heavier weighted hook it won't effect the action as much as if you are fishing it without a weighted hook or with a lighter weight.

Thanks for trying the Big EZ.

just use them. they will work even with the slight bend. i am using a 5/0 weighted gammy and they will swim. i was at gambler today and picked up about 200 big ez's and ez swimers. those things are like snicker bars on lake o.

I use them weighted and non weighted. I'am fishing shallow water with them most of the time. I find they work best for me with just a 6/0 Owner EWG Cutting point hook. Usually I just swim them, jerk them or run them across the surface with the tail makeing a ruckuss. They will draw up big hits on top!
