Super User roadwarrior Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 Man, this track rocks! http://www.ladygaga.com/youandi/ Quote
brushhoggin Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 you know, i thought you'd lost your mind until i gave it a chance. i was almost certain it was gonna be crazy, electronic sound art with auto tuned singing but i was surprised. that song made me feel good. pretty freakin good havin a go at a country feel. i will admit that video scared me a little Quote
Steven Ladner Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 She's a pretty odd girl, but that song does have a good rhythm. Quote
Red Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Not my thing I guess, couldn't even finish it! Quote
preach4bass Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 The lady looks and acts crazy, but she has an excellent voice. Quote
Hamby Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I dig this song. My dad and i saw her perform this on tv. Just her and a piano. When she first came on, my dad was mumbling profanities and talking about how weird and horrible her music is. He quickly became silent when she started the song hahaha. He's a big country-loving redneck. The video is very odd and scary though. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 You must have run out of the Pappy and started drinking grappa or something.... Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 Kent there are times when I wonder what you've been smoking. On the other hand, once I minimized the video so that only the audio remained, I found that she had a pretty good set of pipes. Liked the song. Hated the video. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 13, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 13, 2011 Lady Gaga is amazing. The woman can sing - powerfully. I really like her songs, and this one is great. She's an "artist", so her performances and videos are, shall we say, over-the-top...yet somehow mesmerizing and unforgettable because they're so unique. 1 Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 Her HBO special is actually pretty good. I can see why people really like her. She is an entertainer. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 Ton of talent... just a bit crazy. Quote
Stasher1 Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Ton of talent... just a bit crazy. Lol, that's like saying the Pope is a bit religious. I dig her. She's kinda like a freakier version of my wife...and I really can't find fault with that. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 Beautiful voice. Very complicated video to shoot and they did an excellent job. Good lyrics. She is a marketing machine. Bill O'Reilly said he would like to interview her about her marketing scheme. Quote
Sfritr Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 And Chaz Bono is a Hot chic............. just sayin Too much like "then next generation Madonna" for me. Quote

Super User South FLA Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 Lady Gaga=Weird, just like most great artist, singers, etc. Don't care for her music though and she tries to hard to be like Madonna at least that is what it seems like to me. Wish her luck! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted October 13, 2011 Super User Posted October 13, 2011 I think she's great ! The list of artists outside the mainstream in all forms of art is endless. Dylan, Carlin, George Harrison, Salvatore Dali, even Mozart was off the beaten path for his time period. Quote
boystcroix Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Mainstream garbage. agreed, I don't really see the talent , just record label marketing Quote
scrutch Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 scares me to think that in 10 years that will seem mundane. Quote
